Systemair Adds New Product Line to Lenexa, Kansas, Manufacturing Operations

Systemair is expanding production at its Lenexa, Kan., facility with the addition of Topvex energy recovery ventilators. As a result, the company is opening up to 15 new full-time positions, primarily skilled assembly workers.
By early May, Systemair will add production of its Topvex ERVs to its existing manufacturing operations in Lenexa. Prior to this, Topvex products were made exclusively in Canada, in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. While production there will continue, increasing demand for ventilation systems in North America is necessitating increased capacity. Systemair’s Lenexa facility had the physical space and potential employment base to accommodate the addition of the Topvex line to its operations.
Use of ventilation products that improve indoor quality is growing dramatically. Adding production of Topvex products to Lenexa will help us keep up with growing demand and ensure we can meet the needs of our customer base seeking to provide healthier indoor air for building occupants.

New Job Opportunities
With the production expansion, Systemair is expecting to add 15 new jobs in Lenexa: 10 skilled assembly workers, a CNC machine operator, an engineer, a production planner, a quality technician, and a supervisor.
The assembly positions in Lenexa provide a tremendous opportunity for employees to advance their skill sets and add new ones. Not only are we excited to support these new jobs in the area, we feel good about contributing to the growth of indoor air quality in the U.S., helping to address this very important health concern
