There is a small influence of geometry adjustment on the pressure drop variation.
Available in different sizes, BURE is an adjustable geometry diffuser for effective and comfortable high-capacity ventilation of big halls and industrial buildings. It is designed for effective heating and cooling. As the installation height is between 4m and 12m, it is suitable for installation in large industrial and public halls. The air discharge pattern can be adjusted manually (BURE-HC), by an electric actuator (BURE-MC, BURE-M2) or by a thermal actuator (BURE-TC).
The control mechanism of all BURE options adjusts the flow pattern continuously in any selected position between an entirely horizontal and vertical discharge pattern adjustment. The BURE consists of an inlet spigot and an inner and outer cage with openings to supply air to the peripheral surface and the underside. Dependent on the particular operation method, the openings in the peripheral surface (cooling, horizontal air stream) or the underside (heating, vertical air stream) are opened.

Diffuser for large air volumes with adjustable air distribution patterns; suitable for large areas such as high ceiling Entry halls, Industrial buildings, Production halls, Airports or commercial centers. Its adjustable design makes it suitable for both heating and/or cooling. The recommended installation height is between 4 and 12 m. Depending on the air diffusion design, the air-jet of either horizontal or vertical, can be manually adjusted, or by an electrical servomotor, or automatically adjusted by the air temperature through a self actuated thermostatic actuator. The diffuser consists of a connection piece with a rubber gasket seal and an inner and outer diffuser ring assembly. Depending on the operating mode, these create a vertical (heating) or horizontal (cooling) airflow.Versions:– Manual adjustment with a locking mechanism– Motorized, 2-point/3-point, 230V AC (Belimo motor).– Motorized, 24 V Belimo motor with 0–10V control signal– Autonomous – Self driven thermal adjustment actuator.DesignThe diffuser is made of powder-coated sheet steel (Signal white, RAL9003mat) and is available in duct connection sizes Ø250, Ø315, Ø400, Ø500, and Ø630 mm. At the base section of the diffuser, two double-segmented louvers or slotted surfaces can open to more than 60% of the entire surface. Installation: The diffuser can be installed directly into a circular rigid spiral duct.
