Versatility

The AWE/SK can be used with both single-phase and three-phase motors with integrated thermal contacts. It makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Warning indication

If the thermal contact in the motor is tripped, the AWE-SK contact relay breaks the control circuit connecting with the motor and the warning light illuminates.

Simple reset

The AWE is simple to reset, by pressing the red button marked “Reset” on the front panel, or by closing an external contact connected to the “Reset” connection block.

The AWE-SK is a motor protection device that is designed to be connected to the thermal contacts integrated to the motor and then connected to the motor relay control circuit. If the thermal contact in the motor is tripped, the AWE-SK contact relay breaks the control circuit connecting with the motor. The warning light will then illuminate the fan will stop. The motor will still be without current after the thermal contact in the motor is closed. The motor protector is then reset by pressing the red button marked “Reset” on the front panel. Alternatively, it can be reset by closing an external contact connected to the “Reset” connection block.

The 14-11 connection block provides a potential-free alarm contact that produces an external signal if the relay is tripped.
