Effective noise suppression

The LDR rectangular baffle silencer effectively suppresses noise transmitted to the duct.

Universal flange

The LDR rectangular baffle silencer is supplied with a universal flange that is suitable for both the PG flange and Metu profile.

Low air resistance

LDR is designed for low air resistance with baffle combinations that effectively dampens low-frequency noise.

The LDR is a baffle silencer with a rectangular design. It is designed for easy fitting immediately before or after components in rectangular ducts. It provides effective suppression of noise transmitted to the duct. LDR is designed for low air resistance with baffle combinations that dampen particularly low-frequency noise well. The silencer should be used together with an insulated fan where there is a requirement for noise suppression both in the duct and in the surroundings as a whole.

All silencers are supplied with a universal flange suitable for PG flange or Metu profile fitting. LDR is fitted with built-in baffles and side baffles located outside the fitting dimensions. It has an external shell of trapezoidal corrugated sheet for stability and reduced risk of natural oscillation. It features Lindtec as an insulation material that has been developed to provide good noise properties, low weight and to be cleanable.

Pressure drop calculation for rectangular silencers These calculations apply only if the silencer is connected to a duct at both ends. Example: Calculation of pressure drop for the LDR 60-35 (with dan model RSI 60-35 M3~) using the diagram to the right. 1. Start by defining the front area, see the table below. 2. Move horizontally to the right until you reach the designated air flow in diagram B. 3. Go up vertically to diagram A and the correct p value (see the table). 4. Then continue horizontally to the left and read off the pressure drop. In this example, the pressure drop is 27 Pa.
