The Shatti Al Qurum Hotel, also known as Mandarin Oriental Muscat is a luxury development project located 20 minutes from Muscat International Airport. According to SSH, The Mandarin Oriental-branded Muscat Hotel houses 149 keys, 156 serviced apartments divided into 41 one-bedroom, 84 two-bedroom, 29 three-bedroom, and two four-bedroom units, and features a retail component.
The main requirement was for a ventilation system that can help ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchens within the facilities. The customer highlighted the need to clean greasy and dirty kitchen exhaust air, including ESPW, pre-filter, bag filter and carbon filter, and motor out of air stream ecology units.
Energy efficiency was also a key priority for the customer to ensure the sustainability of long-term operations while also remaining durable to meet the kitchen’s heavy use.
It was decided that Systemair SYSECO ecology units from the UAE shall be supplied with Electrostatic Precipitator, pre-filter, bag filter and UL-certified carbon filter.
