SSD

The SSD socket silencer is a robust and effective socket silencer. It is designed for flat roofs, fulfilling sound requirements at the inlet side. It provides a high level of sound absorption, with an average of 8 dB at 250 Hz. The SSD is both corrosion and seawater-resistant. The SSD socket silencer is manufactured from a corrosion-resistant Magnelis steel sheet, a flat carbon steel product coated with a zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy. This provides both strength and high resistance to corrosion. 

The sound-absorbing material in the SSD is abrasion-resistant up to a velocity of 20 m/s. The SSD socket silencer has wide compatibility and is suitable for use with DVS/DHS, DVSI, DVN, DVNI, DVC, TFSK and DVEX. The baffles are extendable for service options. Suitable for daily ventilation.
