Deltri+ Filter

Revolutionary AHU filters that neutralise airborne viruses, bacteria, and mould with over 99% efficiency.

  • Proven Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) of >99% and Virus Load Reduction (VLR) of >99%

  • Suitable for both commercial and residential air handling units

  • Quick and easy to install

Proven to work

DELTRI+ filters use Deltrian technology which is scientifically proven by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) to inactivate and destroy airborne viruses, bacteria, and mould.

Easy to use

No need to make any mechanical or electrical adjustments. DELTRI+ filters are designed to simply “drop in” to your air handling unit so you can immediately enjoy clean and healthy air.

Incredibly cost effective

HEPA antiviral filters can require as much as 2.4x more energy and can greatly interfere with the air handling unit’s pressure. DELTRI+ filters are designed to be more cost-effective and have minimal impact on air pressure.

Energy efficient

DELTRI+ is Eurovent Certified in line with the ISO 16890 standard. It comes with a Eurovent A+ Energy Efficiency Class (EEC), proving its high filtration efficiency at minimal energy consumption.

DELTRI+ filters for air handling units contain an advanced plasma technology capable of neutralising or destroying 99% of all viruses, including SARS-CoV-2.

The treated filter surface activates on contact with the droplets that carry viruses. After the contact time, viruses are inactivated and no longer infectious.

For clean and healthy air in any environment

This makes DELTRI+ filters a great choice for multiple applications, including:

  • Offices, schools, and public buildings.

  • Healthcare institutions such as hospitals and clinics.

  • Commercial food preparation facilities and catering establishments.

  • Marine & offshore applications where certification is crucial for passengers and crew.

How does DELTRI+ work?

Each DELTRI+ filter is treated with an advanced plasma technology that creates a virucidal layer on the filter surface. This virucidal layer neutralises and destroys up to 99% of all viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, the strain that causes COVID-19.

The virucidal layer and all DELTRI+ filter materials are non-toxic, non-irritating and have been approved by the EU for use in ventilation systems. The active ingredients in DELTRI+ filters are organic and fully biodegradable.

Systemair’s technical expertise and long-term market knowledge have proven invaluable in the development of this solution.

As a result, DELTRI+ filters reduce the risk of transmission and proliferation of viruses and bacteria in the air, and are proven to work equally well in dry and wet environments, and open and closed circuits.

While it does not replace other preventive measures, we consider it a hands-on contribution to support a return to a more normal life.

Filtration

The filters have been tested by an independent third party (Topas GmbH) according to ISO 16890.

DELTRI+ test results were as follows:, ISO ePM 1 = 90%, ISO ePM 2.5 = 95%, and ISO ePM 10 = 95%.

Filter class

Filter class (according to ISO 16890) is defined as ISO ePM1 90%. This is comparable to filter class F9 (acc. EN 779) and MERV 16 (acc. ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 52.2).

Energy efficiency class

DELTRI+ is certified by Eurovent based on the ISO 16890 test report. Based on TCR ECP-11 (Eurovent technical guideline), the Energy Efficiency Class (EEC) has been determined as A+.

Virucidal effect

The active substance in DELTRI+ filters is registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and authorized for use according to the BPR (EU Regulation 528/2012, ’Biocidal Product Regulation’).

Virus load reduction

According to ISO 10705 the Virus Load Reduction (VLR) for DELTRI+ has been measured: the VLR 1 hour after DELTRI+ is installed is 99.999%, and the VLR 12 months after installation is 99.21%.

Bacterial filtration efficiency

As the materials used in DELTRI+ filters is also used in (medical) mouth masks, the Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) has been determined, according to EN 14683, which is 99.9%.
