It is suitable for mounting on and within ventilation ducts located inside a fire compartment and features both horizontal and vertical butterfly disc axes.The housing is constructed from galvanized sheet steel. The butterfly disc is composed of abrasion-resistant, asbestos-free calcium silicate, and is reinforced with sheet metal. It includes a rubber seal and an intumescent seal that expands in the event of a fire.
