RS Rectangular Duct Fans

Casing made of galvanised sheet steel, corrosion class C3. Casing of insulated model RSI has 50 mm acoustic and thermal insulation made of rockwool. Motor with impeller is mounted on swing out service lid. Connection flanges are size PG20. Fans are equipped with an external terminal box with protection class IP54.

RS/RSI fans use single inlet radial impeller with backward curved blades. Impeller made of lightweight, hard-wearing fiberglass reinforced composite material, dynamically balanced and paired with corresponding external rotor motors.

Depending on type, RS/RSI fans are equipped with AC or high efficient EC external rotor motors. All motors are suitable for 50Hz and 60Hz.

Fans with AC motors small sizes up to 50-25 have integrated thermal protection with manual (electrical) reset.

Fans with AC motors bigger sizes have prewired integral thermal contacts (TK) with leads to an external motor protection device (separate accessory).

Fans with EC motors have integrated electronic motor protection including locked-rotor protection and soft-start.

EC motor with built-in potentiometer to adjust working point can be also be controlled by external signal 0-10V.

Depending on type, fans with EC motor are also equipped with ModBus communication or alarm signal.   

AC motor can be controlled by 5-step, stepless speed regulator or frequency converter from the wide range of recommended electrical accessories.

RS/RSI fans can be installed indoor in any position. All models have standard inlet and outlet PG20 flanges to simplify stand-alone installation or together with other accessories. For preventing vibration to the duct it is recommended to use flexible connection.
