Systemair offers a wide range of round and rectangular OPTIMA variable air volume controllers for supplying and extracting air. VAV controllers automate the airflow to each room or zone, making it one of the most energy-efficient systems in comfort ventilation.
With VAV controllers, demand-controlled ventilation is ensured by monitoring the temperature and/or CO2 value and sending a signal to the VAV controller, which will open or close depending on the airflow demand. In this way, VAV ventilation is the way forward to achieving a good indoor climate while optimising the energy efficiency of your ventilation system.

The OPTIMA-R-FC is a circular variable air volume controller suitable for offices, hotel rooms and meeting rooms. It's available with various control options, including Modbus/BACnet, with or without sound insulation.
If you need a circular variable air volume controller for a low-speed ventilation system, we recommend the OPTIMA-LV-R, which extends the application range to flow rates as low as 0.2 m/s.
The OPTIMA-R-FC_BM is also a circular variable air volume controller, with a motor and flow meter separated into two different boxes. This allows for the interchangeability of the actuator type.
OPTIMA-S-FC is a rectangular variable air volume controller that is available in many different sizes and with different control options. The unit is available with or without soundproof housing.
OPTIMA-S-FC_BM is also a rectangular variable air volume controller, but the motor and flow meter are separated into two different boxes. This allows for the exchange of the actuator type.
If you need a variable pressure controller, Systemair offers OPTIMA-R-PC_BM and OPTIMA-R-LPC_BM for round ducts and OPTIMA-S-PC_BM and OPTIMA-S-LPC_BM for rectangular ducts. These controllers are all available in a wide range of sizes and with different actuator types. The difference between the PC and LPC models is that LPC models are suitable for use at lower pressures than PC models.
The OPTIMA-S-FM is a compact airflow measurement device that is designed to provide a continuous reading of the airflow volume in rectangular-shaped ventilation ducts. The airflow measured is interpreted and then transmitted by the analogue signal or by the bus communication.
