Compact

VEF unit provide universal solution to combine kitched extract with extract for general ventilation. The VEF line offers a reduced physical footprint without sacrifying efficiency.

Efficient

VEF units consolidate an energy-efficient EC motor with the potential for demand control variation, allowing for quality regulation and a better energy class.

Sound comfort

Combination of low noise EC fan with insulated casing makes it possible, to install the unit inside standard kitchen cupboards without compromising sound comfort.

Easy maintenance

Motor-impeller is directly mounted to the unit’s access cover which allows fast access for inspection and cleaning to help to ensure easy-maintenance.

Features

Construction

Casing made of galvanised sheet steel, corrosion class C3. Casing thermally and acoustically insulated with 30 mm rockwool. Fan mounted on the removable lid, which simplifies maintenance. Fans are equipped by external cable with terminal box (protection class IP66).

Impeller

VEF unit use single inlet forward curved radial impellers. These are from lightweight, hard-wearing fiberglass reinforced polyamide, dynamically balanced and paired with corresponding external rotor motors.

Motor

VEF units are equipped with high efficient external rotor EC motors. Motors are suitable for single phase, 50Hz and 60Hz.

Motor protection

EC motors of VEF units have integrated electronic thermal protection including locked-rotor protection and soft-start.

Control

VEF untis are equipped with built-in potentiometer to adjust working point and can be also controlled by external controllers or cooker hoods (accessories) either on/off, 3-step or stepless 0-10V.

Demand control ventilation available with the external sensors C02 or RH% (accessories).

Installation

VEF unit can be installed in any position, indoor by included mounting brackets. Most commonly units installed inside kitchen cupboard. All models have spigots with rubber sealings, which perfectly designed to connect to the circular duct.

Installation of fan can be combined with range of recommended cooker hoods.
