The SPM is an iris damper for measurement and adjustment of the airflow with enhanced choking ability.
The SPM iris damper is manufactured from galvanised sheet steel and is fitted with a rubber gasket for air-tightness.
Fixed test points are provided on the SPM iris damper to facilitate precise measurements.
Available in different sizes, the SPM is an effective and robust iris damper for the measurement and adjustment of airflow. It provides enhanced choking ability. The SPM has a range of specifications, including low sound level as well as centrically formed airflow and fixed test points for precise measurements, The device can be used for supply as well for air extraction.
The damper is made from galvanised sheet steel and is fitted with a rubber gasket tested for casing air-tightness in class C according to EN 1751. It has an adjustable aperture which, in combination with a centrally situated sealing rubber ball, can close the entire cross-section. The SPM iris damper is available in sizes ø 160-400, 300 and 315. The damper should be installed in accordance with the distances required to minimise airflow deviation.

Iris damper for easy measurement and adjustment of airflow, made of galvanized sheet metal, with measuring nipple and adjustment mechanism partially made of plastic. The SPI is installed directly into the pipe system, rubber lip seal provides airtight connection. Short face-to-face dimension, high control accuracy. Round design for best air flow resulting in low turbulence and noise emissions. The flow control device in the center of the iris damper allows the iris damper to be closed completely.Temperature resistant up to +70 °C. The iris damper can be used for supply or exhaust air. Nominal widths: from DN 160 to DN 400 - Size: 160
